Actress Salma Blair appeared in court in Queens after being charged with assaulting flight attendants, a police officer and a nurse who boarded a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York.

Salma Blair's alleged assault on airlines didn't end with the police. He is also accused of kicking a nurse at Queens Hospital in the chest, hours after he was arrested following an alleged incident on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York.

The criminal court affidavit, filed in Queens Criminal Court, says registered nurse Ashley DeLeo was helping transport Blair for further treatment at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center around 2 a.m. ET on Oct. 12 when Blair allegedly kicked her.

"The defendant kicked plaintiff DeLeo in the chest," the affidavit states, adding that the alleged conduct caused "significant pain in her chest."

Blair, 54, was arraigned Monday on two counts of second-degree assault after Port Authority police responded to a call of a "physically abusive passenger" on Delta Flight 938 from Los Angeles to John F. Kennedy International Airport, authorities said.

The border passengers encountered a man who apparently had the chokehold of the flight crew and tried to open it in the middle of the flight.

The court document also alleges that Blair kicked a Port Authority police officer as he was being escorted from JFK's Terminal 4 into an ambulance on the airport's B22 exit ramp.

Police Officer Maria Suarez was assisting Blair on a stretcher at about 11:50 p.m. According to the affidavit, Blair allegedly "removed his leg from the stretcher strap and repeatedly kicked Officer Suarez in the face, neck and chest."

Belder's lawyer told the court that the incident was not intentional, arguing that he had forgotten doses of a "strong" drug used to control severe neurological symptoms.

"This was not an intentional attack," said attorney Shawn Barnes.

Barnes also said Blair had been working for "many hours" before the flight and claimed he fell and hit his head during the trip.

"These factors, along with the altitude, led to a state of extreme disorientation and disorientation," Barnes said.
