Costa Rican authorities are searching for a woman suspected of murder after the body of an American citizen was discovered in late September.

Costa Rica's Judicial Investigation Agency, its country's equivalent of the FBI, said it is seeking the public's help in identifying a woman suspected of murder after the body of a U.S. citizen they identified as "Fleming" was found Sept. 27 in an apartment near the beach.

The 74-year-old American citizen walked into an apartment in Playas del Coco, a beach town in a popular tourist area on Costa Rica's northern Pacific coast, at 4:50 p.m. According to Costa Rican authorities on September 27. The woman apparently left the condo without him.
