DS F3VER, the futuristic electric concept of the DS brand, with its bold design and stunning 3D lights, is a sign of the future ambitions of the French luxury car maker.
The DS Automobiles brand, one of the luxury subcategories of Stlantis Group, intends to strengthen its independent identity in the premium car market by unveiling the new F3VER concept. This design study was introduced before the 2026 Paris Motor Show and shows the company's future direction. F3VER is not going to go directly into the production line; Rather, it is more of a design manifesto that emphasizes distinctive style and extensive customization.
Bold design and futuristic details of DS F3VER
The DS F3VER concept has a decisive presence with its compact dimensions of 4.19 meters in length, 1.84 meters in width and 1.46 meters in height. Its sculptural body, compact lines and distinctive proportions display an impressive design without resorting to the large dimensions of modern SUVs. The front of the car has a distinctly futuristic look with a central vertical element containing the DS badge and Y-shaped light signatures on the sides. The rear also follows the same approach with a central digital logo and multi-dimensional lights that create the feeling of a light tunnel.
The taillights consist of 16 LED panels mounted on a lightweight magnesium structure, inspired by the domed ceiling of the Grand Palais in Paris; This complex optical signature leaves a memorable impression. DS has also developed an exclusive color called Cosmic Blue, which changes between deep blue and dark purple depending on the light. Its two-tone body goes beyond the conventional roof and the contrasting color covers the rear of the car to accentuate the car's shape. Even the roof trim is customizable, allowing buyers to add a unique touch. The car's rims also feature champagne-colored detailing and a subtle Clous de Paris pattern.

Extensive customization and smart design
DS intends F3VER to be more than just a beautiful design exercise; The concept envisions a future where personalization becomes the core of the ownership experience, transcending body color and trim. The rear lighting system, similar to Audi cars, can display various animations and act as a visual signature and a way to communicate information. DS envisions light as a language through which the car expresses its personality and interacts with its surroundings.
Behind the striking design of the F3VER is what DS calls Design Intelligence. This approach focuses on creating more with fewer components and aims to simplify the vehicle's structure, reduce weight, improve aerodynamic efficiency and create cleaner surfaces without sacrificing perceived quality.
DS's new approach in building cars and everyday use
The DS F3VER Concept uses an integrated headlight assembly, one-piece bumpers, and less plastic add-on around the fenders and underbody. In addition to a more unified appearance, these solutions can simplify the production process if adapted for mass-produced vehicles.
Despite its dramatic appearance, the F3VER is designed for everyday practicality. Its 2.70-meter wheelbase is designed to maximize cabin space, and its 400-liter trunk offers the same cargo capacity as larger cars. DS says the concept combines urban agility with comfort and versatility for longer journeys, leisure activities and weekend getaways. However, the company has not yet revealed any information about its engine, battery capacity, charging specifications or estimated range. The DS F3VER has been introduced as part of a new generation of electric vehicles and promises a class-leading range.
