It's good, he left United/ Onana's new masterpiece: scoring from the corner! (photo)

Andre Onana has once again attracted attention with a ridiculous and unbelievable mistake.

According to "Sports Three", Onana once again experienced a nightmarish moment. The frustrated Manchester United goalkeeper scored directly from a corner during the Trabzonspor Conference League match. This 30-year-old goalkeeper still has a contract with Manchester United, but he is spending his second season on loan in Turkey.

This Cameroon international could not prevent the corner kick of the Finnish team Kopion Palouseora from scoring. Trabzonspor seemed to dominate the game and were leading 0-3 after 47 minutes. Former Southampton striker Paul Onwacho scored the opener and Liverpool legend Mohamed Salah doubled the lead just before the end of the first half. This Egyptian star, who went to Turkey this summer after leaving Anfield, scored his eighth goal of the season in only 10 games.

Francolino Gio scored the third goal shortly after the start of the second half and it looked like the home team's job was over. But experienced midfielder Petri Pananen gave Corso some hope for Copione Paloceora with Onana's strange mistake to save a corner kick. Penanen sent the ball into the penalty area from the corner point, but the Manchester United loanee jumped from his place and incredibly could not prevent the ball from entering the goal.

Unana was on the ground and her teammates were walking away from the scene in despair. He finally had to get up and continue playing. Gio scored his second goal in stoppage time, but former Bristol City striker Gustave Engval scored a late consolation goal to end the game 4-2.

Manchester United fans rushed to Unana on social networks. One of them wrote: "No matter how bad our situation is, we will not miss this man."

Another user wrote: "Good to see it's still a total pain in the butt."

The third person declared: "One of the worst goalkeepers I have ever seen."

Onana joined Manchester United in a £47 million deal from Inter in the summer of 2023 to replace David de Gea and reunite with his former manager at Ajax, Erik Tenhach. He played 101 times for United in two seasons, first under Tenhach and then Ruben Amorim, but his 102nd game for this team was a shaky performance in the second round of the FA Cup against Grimsby last August, which ultimately led to his being dropped.

Onana won the FA Cup in 2024, but his tenure at Manchester United was generally less than expected. Manchester United signed Sane Lammens from Royal Antwerp to replace him and the club has certainly not regretted the decision since.
