An official at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences: Fertility rate in Razavi Khorasan reached 1.5 children

Referring to the decrease in the fertility rate in Khorasan Razavi to about 1.5 children, the Deputy Technical Vice President of Health of Mashhad University of Medical Sciences said: "The fertility rate in the province has moved away from the replacement level and the incentives provided in the Family and Population Youth Protection Law have not worked well in encouraging families to have children due to the non-implementation of some supports and lack of fit with inflation and living costs."
