Moscow, October 16. /TASS/. Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, said that 15 towns were liberated by the Center of Russian Combatant Groups in September and October, and fighting continues in nine other towns.

He reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin: "In total, in September-October, the units of the Battle Group Center liberated 15 towns. The battle continues in nine more towns, including Raiskoye and Sviatogorsk."
