The Secretary General of the Founding Board of Islamic Azad University added: Alborz was chosen to hold this conference, considering the suitability of the name of this scientist with the city of Karaj and the need to pay more attention to scientific figures related to the history and identity of this region. The purpose of this program is to provide a context to introduce the scientific and historical aspects of Karaji and to make the society more familiar with his place in Iran's scientific heritage.
This official explained: The plans are not limited to holding a conference in Alborz province, and the central province is also one of the focus areas for the implementation of his introduction and commemoration programs due to the connection of this scientist with that region. Also, due to the link between the specialized area of Karaji with mathematics, engineering and knowledge related to water resources, holding programs in Yazd province is also on the agenda.
Emphasizing the need to pay attention to Iran's scientific heritage, Navid Adham stated: Introducing scientists and thinkers who have played a role in the formation and expansion of science in different historical periods can increase the knowledge of the country's scientific background in today's generation and provide a more effective connection between Iran's cultural identity and scientific capacities.
He expressed: Recognizing these figures can be more effective when different aspects of their lives, works and scientific achievements are made available to the society. In this direction, holding specialized conferences and using the scientific and cultural capacities of the provinces can help to expand public knowledge of the country's scientific heritage.
