Party Licensing Committee Approves Formation of New Party "Vatan-e Man"

The Article 10 Party Committee has approved the establishment of a new party and 17 provincial branches of various parties.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, the third meeting of the Article 10 Commission on the Activities of Political Parties and Groups was held this year with 24 resolutions.

Abuzar Kothari, Director General of the Political Affairs Office and Secretary of the Article 10 Commission of the Law on the Activities of Political Parties and Groups, said about the approvals of this meeting: The request to establish the popular party "My Homeland" in the geographical area of Tehran province was approved.

He added: The report of holding the general assembly of "Assembly of Volunteers" and three cases of religious minorities' associations, including "Ararat Cultural Sports Club Association", "Narsi Abad Zoroastrian Association" and "Zoroastrian Students' Association" were also approved by the commission.

Kothari stated: The request to change the scope of activity of "Islamic Independent Servants Party" from provincial (Tehran) to national was also approved.

The Secretary of the Commission of Article 10 of the Party Activity Law also said that the request to change the title of "Work and Labor Party" to "Labor Party" of Tehran Province was agreed.

Kothari added: In this meeting, with the request for the establishment of 17 provincial branches of the parties of the Islamic Revolution Defenders of Khuzestan Province, the Islamic Revolution Supporters of Khuzestan Province, the Iran Teachers' Organization of Khuzestan Province, the Friends of the Islamic Revolution of Ilam Province, the Iranian Islamic Transformation and Progress Society of Ilam Province, the Islamic Society of Iran's Medical Society of Ilam Province, the Supporters of the Islamic Revolution Society of Ilam Province, the Iranian Islamic Development and Progress Society of Hamadan Province, the Islamic Association of Iranian Teachers of Hamedan Province, the Islamic Revolution Veterans Society of Hamedan Province, the Yaran Society The Islamic Revolution of Alborz Province, the Party of the Islamic Nation of Iran in Central Province, the Progressive Reform Party of Kermanshah Province, the Party of Development and Justice of Islamic Iran in East Azarbaijan Province, the Party of the United Nation of Islamic Iran in East Azarbaijan Province, the Young Settlers of Iran Islamic Community in Isfahan Province, and the Calling Party of Iranians in North Khorasan Province were agreed.
