Plague Prevention Guidelines Sent to Borders / Situation Will Not Be Like COVID
A member of the Health Commission, referring to concerns about the disease reported in Russia known as plague, said no case of this disease has been reported in the country so far, and necessary preventive guidelines have been sent to the borders. Even if such an event occurs, the situation will not be like COVID, because we are not dealing with a virus that has no treatment.
Referring to the concerns about the disease reported in Russia known as the plague, the member of the health commission said: So far, no case of this disease has been reported in the country and the necessary preventive instructions have been communicated to the borders. Because we are not facing a virus that had no cure.
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Mohammad Jamalian said about the disease reported in Russia known as the plague and the rumors raised about the possibility of its transmission to other countries and the measures taken in our country: So far, no case of plague has been reported in the country, and preventive measures and necessary instructions have been sent to the borders by the Ministry of Health.
The member of the Health and Treatment Commission of the Islamic Council stressed: Prevention instructions have been fully prepared and all the things that should be taken into consideration about the symptoms of the disease have been specified. If the first case is identified, these instructions have been communicated to doctors, clinics and hospitals, and we have not had any cases of plague so far.
He emphasized: Plague, unlike Corona, is a bacterial disease and it has a cure and is also treated with antibiotics. Because of this, there is no need to worry and people should not be anxious or worried.
Jamalian pointed out: However, the World Health Organization is also following up on this matter seriously; Because if it happens, the disease can spread and the speed of its transmission is high. For this reason, it is important for everyone.
He continued: "In Russia itself, based on the reports we have, the conditions have been fully controlled and no other problems have been reported except for the laboratory staff."
This member of the Health and Medical Commission of the Islamic Council said that the Ministry of Health has issued the necessary instructions regarding humans as well as other imported items, and said: I recently spoke with Dr. Raisi, the Deputy Health Minister and responsible for the management of communicable diseases of the Ministry of Health, and I saw the relevant notices. Because of this, there is no need for people to worry.
He emphasized: If, God forbid, something similar to the Corona era happens, surely the things that people should follow will be made known to the public. Currently, people do not need to take any special action and there is no reason to worry.
In response to the fact that people can be assured that they should not be worried in this regard and that there is no need to follow specific health guidelines, Jamalian said: The guidelines that must be followed at the borders have been communicated to the Ministry of Health and the relevant staff, and these measures are being carried out.
He emphasized: The World Health Organization is also sensitive to this issue, and as I said, there is really nothing to worry about and the necessary measures are being taken. If such an event happens, the conditions will not be like Corona; Because we are not facing a virus that has no cure. This issue is being followed up seriously.
