The Role of Border Provinces in Enhancing Crisis Management Cooperation Is Important

Ardabil - The Governor of Ardabil said that given the geographical conditions of the region, border provinces play a highly important role in enhancing cooperation between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan in controlling natural crises.

Ardabil - Governor of Ardabil said: Considering the geographical conditions of logic, the role of border provinces in promoting cooperation between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of natural crisis control is very important.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Masoud Emami Yeganeh, during his visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the Minister of Interior and a joint meeting with the Minister of Emergency Situations of this country, he stated that Ardabil province, having a 370 km border with the Republic of Azerbaijan, is fully prepared to hold joint maneuvers with relief agents and emergency management of the neighboring country.

He added: holding training courses, operational and field maneuvers and taking advantage of the experiences of the relief and aid forces of the two countries can play an effective role in improving readiness, increasing coordination and strengthening the ability to deal with possible incidents and crises.

Emphasizing the necessity of developing joint cooperation in the field of crisis management, the governor of Ardabil said: the exchange of technical knowledge, the transfer of specialized experiences, and the implementation of joint training programs will be the basis for improving the operational and relief capacities in the border areas.

Emami Yaganeh continued: Expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of crisis management, while increasing the level of preparedness of responsible institutions, also helps to strengthen friendly relations and constructive interactions between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Minister of Unforeseen Events of the Republic of Azerbaijan also expressed his satisfaction about this meeting and said: the exchange of information and experiences between the two countries is very useful for better dealing with unexpected events and we hope that the visit of the Iranian delegation will lead to the development of cooperation and development of relations.
