On the eve of the start of the new season of the Polish League, Wilfredo Leon has again suffered a knee problem, and according to reports, he will be out of action for about three weeks.

According to "Sports Three", the new season of the Polish Volleyball League will start on Friday, October 16, and Wilfredo León is also looking forward to the start of this season, as he announced on social networks.

Last weekend, Leon and his team, Luke Lublin, participated in the Bogdanka Tomasz Vojtowicz Volleyball Cup; However, the Polish volleyball star was not present on the court. As it turns out, this player has undergone knee surgery and this issue will keep him out of action for about three weeks.

Leon recently accompanied the Polish national team in the European Championship, and at the end of this competition, he was selected as the best player of the tournament.

In the 2026/27 Tauron League season, 14 teams will compete for the championship title. According to the usual procedure, these matches will be held in two stages, the regular season and the playoffs. In the first stage, the teams will face each other in round-robin competitions and a total of 26 weeks of competition will be held. At the end of this stage, the top eight teams in the standings will qualify for the playoffs.
