The Black Widow star is producing Assassins, a new series greenlit at Peacock.

The series comes from Sony's B17 Entertainment, with co-founders Brian Meagher and Rhett Bachner serving as executive producers alongside Johansson.

Assassins follows a group of players who compete in a game of strategy and wit that is played from a live-action game around the world. From the moment of entry, each player is assigned a goal - one person to eliminate before the end of the season. But in this game, every hunter is hunted and no one is ever safe. It's the latest competitive series to be based on a real-life game, specifically following Taavos' own Mafia-based series The Traitors. NBC is currently airing The Traitors: New Blood with Peacock for a sixth season of the celebrity edition next year.
