Former adviser says Starlink restrictions are disrupting Ukrainian army operations

Sergei Sterlenko said internet access disruptions have been recorded when moving at speeds above 160 km/h.

Moscow, October 14. /TASS/. Sergei Strenenko, a former adviser to Ukraine's defense minister, said that SpaceX had imposed overnight restrictions on the Ukrainian military's Starlink terminal operations, disrupting its operations.

He wrote in the telegram: "Restrictions were imposed on the operation of Starlink terminals from last night. Internet access disruptions were recorded when traveling at a speed of over 160 kilometers per hour. As a result, a number of important missions were disrupted."

Strenenko suggested that SpaceX acted on the request of the US government.

Politico Europe previously reported that US President Donald Trump could cut US intelligence support to Kiev or pressure Elon Musk to disable SpaceX's Starlink internet service, which Ukraine's military relies heavily on. On the same day, Zelensky said that the United States had not warned Ukraine about the Russian missile launch last night.
