Everything should be developed in line with individual interests, not out of anyone's spite.
Dmitry Peskov stressed that if matters are carried out as balanced efforts, they will lead to nothing good.
Moscow, October 15. /TASS/. At the "Eurasia" awards ceremony, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: "The achievements of Russia and the entire Eurasian region should be considered as efforts that serve their own interests, not as a balance for others."
He was asked if the prize's expanding geographic scope could be seen as a response to the West's Russophobia.
He replied: "You know, it's not! There's no need to develop something as our answer to the West and so on. Let's develop everything according to our interests. But if you do something to hold a grudge against someone, it's not going to lead to anything good."
