Pezeshkian: We Will Not Allow the Enemy to Paralyze the Country's Production and Economy

Tabriz – The president, emphasizing national self-reliance and strengthened provincial authority, said: We will not allow the enemy to paralyze the country's production and economy.

According to the report of Mehr reporter, Masoud Mezikian, at the meeting of the Planning and Development Council of East Azerbaijan which was held in the presence of managers, elites and economic activists of the province, pointed out the role of the people in overcoming the difficult conditions of the country and stated: The Iranian nation has faced many pressures and conspiracies during the past 48 years, but the unity, cohesion and self-belief of the people have prevented the plans of the enemies to weaken and collapse the country.

The President stated that the enemies thought that by limiting the communication routes, exerting pressure on sea and air routes and targeting the country's commanders and managers, they could face Iran with a widespread crisis, adding: Their goal was to disrupt the administration of the country, stop economic activities and create social dissatisfaction. But the people, producers, entrepreneurs and guilds did not allow these plans to be realized with their standing and efforts.

He emphasized: We will provide the needs of the country by relying on the internal power and the support of the people and we will not allow the evil intention of the enemies to paralyze the production and disrupt the activities of the country to come to fruition.

Delegation of authority to the provinces; A solution to strengthen local management

Emphasizing the necessity of increasing the authority of provincial managers and reducing the concentration of decision-making in the capital city, Madhishian said: Provincial managers should not wait for decisions in Tehran to solve all issues. Local administrators have the necessary ability and capacity to manage the issues of their region and this capacity should be used properly.

He added: "There is no difference between the administrative capacity of the capital and the provinces, and if we believe that we can solve problems by relying on our capacities, the ground for fundamental changes in the administration of the country will be provided."

Referring to the human, scientific and economic capacities of East Azerbaijan, the president noted: whether we are in Tabriz or in Maragheh, Jolfa, Ahar and other regions of the country, we must trust our abilities. Experience has shown that with the will and use of existing facilities, it is possible to find solutions to problems or build a new path.

The doctors continued: The government's approach should be based on solving the problems by relying on the people, academics, elites and the available resources of the country. Iran's water, soil, manpower and scientific and economic capacities provide the possibility to overcome many problems; Provided that these capacities are correctly identified and used.

The revival of mosques and the formation of neighborhood-oriented management

In another part of his speech, the president emphasized the need to strengthen people's participation in the administration of local affairs, referring to the proposal made about the revival of the role of mosques and the establishment of neighborhood-based management.

He said: "In the early days of Islam, the mosque was one of the main centers for dealing with people's issues, and today, by reviving the social functions of mosques, it is possible to provide the basis for solving part of the problems of the neighborhoods with the direct participation of the people."

Medical experts added: Issues related to education, livelihood, employment, health and public services should be pursued with the presence of people and the use of local capacities. City councils, mosques, people's groups and other local institutions can play an effective role in identifying needs, prioritizing issues and implementing solutions.

He emphasized: neighborhood-oriented and mosque-oriented management means using people's power to solve the real problems of their lives; An approach that can reduce the distance between administrative decisions and the daily needs of citizens and provide the context for greater participation of people in the administration of society.

Trying to avoid production stoppage in winter

Referring to the damage to part of the country's gas infrastructure during the recent attacks, the doctor said: about 230 million cubic meters of the country's gas capacity were damaged due to these attacks; An issue that, along with the previous conflict of about 300 million cubic meters, put additional pressure on the country's energy supply.

Stating that part of the damaged infrastructure has been restored, he added: We must plan to overcome the energy restrictions with the cooperation of people, guilds, provincial managers and economic activists so that the activities of factories and production units do not face serious disruption in the winter season.

The president emphasized: stable supply of energy is of fundamental importance for the continuation of the activities of industries and production units, and the stopping of the production cycle and the occurrence of disruptions in the supply of water, electricity and gas needed by the factories must be prevented with the coordination of the responsible agencies.

Medikian also appreciated the cooperation of guilds, activists of the Chamber of Commerce, producers and artisans and said: the government is with the producers and the efforts of economic activists to maintain the production cycle in difficult conditions deserve appreciation.

Glorifying the armed forces and accompanying the people

The president further thanked the military, security forces, the Revolutionary Guards and the Popular Mobilization Forces and stated: The country's defense forces and military commanders showed remarkable performance in difficult conditions and gave their lives to defend Iran.

Emphasizing the importance of national solidarity, he added: The standing of the country's defense forces, along with the presence and support of the people, has played an important role in neutralizing the enemies' plans, and the Islamic Republic of Iran has been able to resist the pressures by relying on these capacities.

Also referring to the patience and companionship of the people in the difficult conditions of the country, the doctor said: the timely and intelligent presence of the people failed the enemy's plans. Despite the existing shortcomings and problems, the officials have the duty to try with all their might to meet the needs of the people.

He pointed out: the officials consider themselves accountable to the people and are aware of the existence of problems and inadequacies; However, people's sympathy and companionship is considered a basic capital to overcome difficult conditions and advance the affairs of the country.

In the end, the president emphasized the need to strengthen national self-confidence, use local capacities, increase the powers of provincial managers and organized participation of people in the administration of localities, and considered these approaches as important axes for solving problems and maintaining the dynamics of production and the country's economy.
