Football Federation Warns 3 Persian Premier League Clubs

The Football Federation's club licensing office has issued Notice No. 2 for Persian Premier League clubs. The warning to three clubs first appeared on Safir Arjan.

According to Ambassador Arjan, in line with the requirements of the Club Licensing Regulations and following the correspondence made on August 27 with the clubs of Iran's premier football league, the submission of audited financial statements and the comparative report of paragraph F.06 (budget forecast) and compliance with the nine-year financial statement of Yashgah are among the necessary documents in the evaluation process of the 2026-2025 licensing cycle.

Also, according to Article 12 of the Club Licensing Regulations, the license applicant must be a football club, or in other words, a legal entity that is fully responsible for a football team participating in national and international competitions.

And according to Article 20, F, 01 of the 2026 Update Club Licensing Regulations, if the men's and women's soccer teams are part of the same legal entity or reporting scope, the license applicant must identify and provide at least a separate profit and loss statement to identify the income and expenses related to each of the soccer teams.

Until the time of writing this notice, the audited financial statements of 9 Khuzestan Steel Clubs, Sepahan, Pikan, Golghar Sirjan, Nasaji Mazandaran, Melvan Bandar Anzali, Zob Ahn Isfahan, Shams Azer Qazvin and Chadormello Ardakan have been sent to this management. Also, five clubs Esteghlal Khuzestan, Sanat Naft Abadan, Khyber Khorramabad, Fajar Sepasi and Persepolis have sent a letter and asked for a deadline to submit this document until the end of October.

Regarding Tehran's Esteghlal, Tractor and Aluminum Arak clubs, according to the deadline extension request, the final deadline for sending the documents has been set until the first week of November. It is emphasized that this deadline is intended to provide enough time to complete the considered documents and it will not be possible to extend it again; And the documents will be carefully reviewed and evaluated by the experienced financial experts of this management, and the delay in providing the documents will cause problems for the timely implementation of the club's licensing process.

Also, due to the non-action of Mes Shahr Babak Club by the deadline, a preliminary warning has been sent to this club.

The club licensing management of the Football Federation, while emphasizing the necessity of meeting the announced deadlines, requests all eligible clubs to submit complete and timely documents. The responsibility for the delay in the submission of documents and its consequences in the club license evaluation process will be the responsibility of the respective club.
