Pezeshkian Offers Condolences to the People of Gilan

In a message on the passing of Ayatollah Zeynolabedin Ghorbani Lahiji, the President extended condolences to the people of Gilan Province, his followers, and especially the esteemed family of the late cleric.

In his message, the President expressed his condolences to the noble people of Gilan province, his friends and especially the noble family of the late Ayatollah Zainul Abdin, the victim of Lahiji.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan Masoud, in his condolence message on the passing away of Ayatollah Zainul Abdin Ghorbani Lahiji, he stated: The deceased scholar spent his blessed life in the path of learning and promoting Islamic knowledge, teaching, researching and authoring, and in addition to his records of struggles before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, for many years in various religious, cultural and social responsibilities, including the representation of the Supreme Leader in Gilan province, the Juma Imamate of Rasht and several terms of membership in the Assembly of Leadership Experts. They were always in the service of the people and the revolution.

The late scholar spent his blessed life in the path of learning and promoting Islamic knowledge, teaching, researching and writing, and in addition to his records of struggles before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he was always at the service of the people and the revolution for many years in various religious, cultural and social responsibilities, including the representation of the Supreme Leader in Gilan province, the Juma Imamate of Rasht and several terms of membership in the Assembly of Leadership Experts.
