Recipients of Government Livelihood Aid: From Cash Subsidies to Kalabarg
Several livelihood aid programs are implemented each month by the government for Iranian households. This aid is being delivered in two forms: cash subsidies and non-cash payments (kalabarg).
According to the report of Mehr reporter, several livelihood assistance plans are implemented by the government for Iranian families every month. This livelihood assistance is being done in the form of cash and non-cash subsidy payment (Kalaberg).
Subsidy cash payments are reserved for households in the first to ninth income deciles. Households in the first to third income deciles receive 400 thousand Tomans, and the fourth to ninth income deciles receive 300 thousand Tomans per month, which is deposited into the account of the head of the household on the 25th and 31st of each month, respectively.
It should be noted that after updating the data related to the level of income and assets of households, about 8 million people were removed from the list of cash subsidy recipients from the beginning of the 14th government, after which a request for re-examination was registered by a significant number of households in the support system.
Special livelihood assistance for Iranians living in the country:
Non-cash subsidy in the form of Kalaberg was introduced in the 13th government. In this plan, Iranians were free to choose to receive cash or non-cash subsidies. During this period, if people bought a certain amount of 11 items of the desired item, an additional charge of 120 thousand Tomans was deposited for them as a reward for using the product card, and this incentive should also be spent on purchasing goods in the form of product card design.
In the 14th government, after a one-year hiatus, the implementation of the Kalaberg project started again. This livelihood assistance, along with the cash subsidy for the first to ninth income deciles, is being implemented for all Iranians living in the country.
The amount of Kalaberg was initially deposited with 500 thousand tomans for the first to third income deciles and 350 thousand tomans for the heads of households from the fourth to seventh deciles.
Further, with the removal of the preferred currency of 28,500 Tomans from January 1404 and the increase in the price of food items, this non-cash subsidy was determined to be one million Tomans per person and allocated to individuals. In addition, any Iranian living in the country could be included in this plan by registering an application.
It should be noted that the standard of decimalization in the payment of general merchandise has been removed and the charging schedule is based on the number at the end of the national code of household heads 15, 25 and 5 every month.
Also, with the increase in the inflation of basic goods in the new year and the inflation rate of foodstuffs reaching 3 digits, the government has increased the amount of 500 thousand tomans for 11 million pensioner households of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and the country's welfare organization from this month (October 1405).
It has also been announced that a population of over 40 million citizens of the country, including about 18 million and 300 thousand households, will be eligible to enjoy an increase in Kalaberg credit; Benefiting from this privilege is subject to the completion of the self-declaration form and registration of the application by the heads of the household.
Based on this, the heads of households included in the plan are required to refer to the "National Window of Smart Government Services" through the internet address my. , complete the self-declaration form and finalize your application.
The time frame considered for the registration of applicants in this system has been set until 24:00 on Tuesday, October 21.
Also, after the completion of the first stage, the mechanism for dealing with the requests of those heads of households who request to review and update their information will be subsequently notified through this system.
Non-cash subsidy for malnourished children:
Next to this general non-cash subsidy, the second government aid plan to provide daily calories for the community is the credit plan for malnourished children. Monthly household heads of more than 188,000 malnourished children under the age of 5, who have visited health centers across the country, receive credit for buying free food baskets under the electronic catalog plan.
According to the deputy welfare and economic affairs of the Ministry of Labor, the allocation of necessary funds for the implementation of this project in 1405 has been predicted by the country's planning and budget organization. In this way, 1.3 million Tomans will be charged for 159 thousand 635 malnourished children in very needy households with low economic capacity (first to fifth deciles) and 800 thousand Tomans for 29 thousand 285 malnourished children in needy households with medium economic capacity (sixth and seventh deciles).
The head of the household can buy fruits and vegetables, as well as nuts for their children, in addition to the 11 items of basic goods included in the Kalaberg plan.
Yasna plan and non-cash government subsidy to mothers:
Another plan is for pregnant and lactating women; A step by the government to support the family and the youth of the population.
"Yesna" project is one of the government's support programs within the framework of Article 24 of the Family and Youth Protection Law. By allocating support credit, this plan focuses on providing essential items for pregnant mothers and those with children under 2 years of age, focusing on low-income deciles.
The project was implemented in 1403 and continues. In the first step, the covered population included about 2 million pregnant mothers with children under 2 years of age from the 7 income deciles of the country. The amount paid in this period was 1.5 million tomans, which was charged monthly.
In the second step of 1403, another 507,000 mothers who were either pregnant or had multiple children under the age of 2 were added to this population. This population is related to the first 7 deciles of income, where the deposit amount for pregnant mothers is 450 thousand tomans and for each child 900 thousand tomans.
In 1404, the population included in the Yesna plan was reduced to 1.2 million people, and only pregnant mothers and children under 2 years of age were included in the first 5 income deciles.
The monthly charge for this population was 650 thousand tomans per person in the first to third income deciles and 900 thousand tomans in the fourth and fifth income deciles.
In 1405, this plan continues.
