Behind the Cancellation of Paleh's Concert Tour

The cancellation of Paleh's concert tour was announced at a time when, in recent weeks, the participation of female musicians on stage and obstacles to holding some music performances have again become a topic of debate.

By announcing the cancellation of its concert tour in different cities of Iran, the Palette music group announced the reason for this was that the authorities of some cities prevented the female musician of this group from appearing on stage.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, the Palette Music Group announced by publishing a statement that due to the prevention of the group's female musician from performing in some cities, it has decided to cancel all its tour performances in Iran.

A part of the group's statement reads: "Dear friends of Palet.

We decided to hold performances all over Iran, city by city, after many years, but since we were told in some cities that female musicians are not allowed to go on stage, we are canceling the entire Palette tour until maybe when...

We, the Palette group, are seven people and we will appear on stage when all seven of us can perform equally."

Women still don't know how to play

The cancellation of the Palette concert tour has been announced in the context that in recent weeks, the issue of the presence of female musicians on the stage and the obstacles to holding some music performances have been raised again.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the concert of "Lian" group led by Mohsen Sharifian in Ahvaz was canceled after the producer was asked to promise that female musicians would not be on stage. Sharifian announced that he did not accept the removal of female musicians.

Also, Alireza Ghorbani's concert in Khorasan Razavi's Shandiz, which was supposed to be held as part of the "Iranem" tour, was postponed to another time, despite the announcement of the approval of the relevant agencies of the province, due to what was stated in the notification of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Khorasan Razavi as "some time considerations".

The cancellation of these concerts is happening because the National Music Document of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in February 1402 and was promulgated in March of the same year, emphasizes in the executive measures section on revising the licensing system, strengthening the guarantee of the implementation of music licenses and preventing the interference of natural and legal persons in the licensing process by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, especially in stage performances.
