Islamic Republic Newspaper: Netanyahu Is Beating the War Drums to Win Elections, but We Need Lasting Peace

We Iranians stand firmly against any aggressor and defend our country. But where avoiding war is possible, we see taking the path of peace as being in the interest of the country and its people.

The newspaper of the Islamic Republic wrote: Although inside the country, people and currents are trying to block the way to peace by beating the drum of war, but it is not a secret to those who think that reaching a lasting peace is in the interest of the people of Iran, and the one who is now trying with all his might to resume the war is Netanyahu, the biggest war criminal of our time.

He needs to create a war and intensify conflicts in the region in order to keep up with his rivals in the synagogue elections, which are scheduled to be held on November 5, i.e. in two weeks, and he wants to force Trump to resume the war against Iran.

Netanyahu is even thinking of finding an excuse for not holding elections by resuming the war against Iran and saving himself from the nightmare of losing the elections. In order to thwart this war criminal, efforts should be focused on avoiding any action that causes the resumption of war.

We Iranians stand strong against any aggressor and defend the country, but we consider it to be in the interest of the country and the people to follow the path of peace where it is possible to avoid war.
