Yellow weather warning in Sistan-Baluchistan; Chance of showers in central areas

Zahedan- The head of Sistan-Balochistan Meteorological Forecasting Department said: From Sunday to Tuesday, the southern and central highlands of the province will witness torrential rain, lightning and sudden gusts of wind.

According to Mehr reporter, Ali Molashahi informed reporters on Saturday morning about issuing a yellow weather warning and said: From Sunday to Tuesday, especially on Monday, there is a possibility of convective rains, thunderstorms, strong and momentary gusts and hail in some areas.

The head of Sistan and Baluchistan weather risk forecasting and crisis management department added: This weather condition will affect the cities of Fanuj, Qasrqand, Sarbaz, Nikshahr, Lashar, Mehrestan, Sib and Soran, Saravan, Rask and south of Iranshahr.

He advised the citizens to observe safety precautions and refrain from stopping and settling on the banks of seasonal rivers and climbing to heights.

The head of the Department of Prediction and Crisis Management of Weather Risks also emphasized the need to take preventive measures by livestock farmers to reduce possible losses.
