Jask – The Director General of Rural Affairs and Councils at the Hormozgan Governorate said that of the total 150 billion toman in credit allocated to the Rural Affairs Office over the past six months, 38 billion toman has been allocated to Jask County.
Jask - Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils said: 38 billion Tomans have been allocated to Jask city out of a total of 150 billion Tomans of the rural affairs office in the last 6 months.
In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Mastoreh Abazarpur expressed his appreciation for the resistance of the people of this city in war conditions and said: "The people of Jask stood manfully in these conditions in their villages and cities, and this spirit deserves appreciation."
Referring to the justice-oriented approach in the distribution of rural facilities, he added: at the beginning of the activity, the information of one thousand and 274 villages of the province was collected and a comprehensive database was prepared to check the extent to which the villages have credit, equipment and facilities.
The Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils continued: Based on this, the allocation of facilities and credits was started from the cities and villages that have benefited the least from the resources in the past years.
Referring to the credit limits in war conditions, Abazarpour said: In the last 6 months, a total of 150 billion Tomans of credit was provided to the Office of Rural Affairs, of which 38 billion Tomans were allocated to Jask city.
Emphasizing the necessity of cooperation and interaction between the officials and the people, he said: We all face limitations and at the same time the demands of the people are also right, but we should try to solve the problems of the villages by understanding the existing conditions and mutual cooperation.
Follow up on rural water problems and Jask fishermen
Director General of Rural Affairs and Provincial Councils of Hormozgan, referring to the follow-up of fishermen's problems and water supply in the villages in the meeting with the President, stated: During the Village Day programs, I raised the problems of the fishermen of the province directly with the President, and follow-ups were also carried out in the field of rebuilding fishing vessels.
Abazarpour added: The issue of water shortage in the villages of Hormozgan was also raised as one of the other issues, because in some areas, despite the desalinated water transmission lines passing by the villages, people are facing serious problems to provide drinking water.
He clarified: In this context, the issue of using the credit capacity of Clause "A" of Article 29 was raised and the necessary correspondence is supposed to be carried out to follow up the allocation of more credit to the province.
Allocation of credit for rural machinery is limited
Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Provincial Councils, referring to the situation of providing machinery for villagers, said: Since the beginning of the year, the Office of Rural Affairs had not received any credit for the purchase of machinery, however, after the allocation of credit last month, it was possible to assign a loader to Jask city.
Abazarpour stated that last year, credit was allocated for the provision of 18 rural machines, and added: Our policy is to give priority to the less privileged villages and to distribute the facilities based on the needs and the level of prosperity of the regions.
He also stated about the provision of fire trucks and garbage transportation: Last year, two vehicles were allocated to Jask from the partnership, but this year, the cost of providing a fire truck has reached 18 billion tomans, and its provision depends on the participation of the village and the allocation of financial resources.
The Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils continued: In the current situation, it is not possible to provide a definite promise for the provision of a new fire engine, but the issue of allocating credit for major repairs and returning the worn out machines to the service cycle is being pursued.
The villagers should spend the credits according to the needs of the village
Abazarpour, referring to the change in the way of allocating village credits compared to the 1980s, said: In the past, credits were allocated through the Office of Rural Affairs, but now the resources are directly deposited into the accounts of the villagers, and the villagers must plan carefully to spend it.
He added: The amount of credits and quota for bitumen and asphalt is determined based on indicators such as the population and classification of the village, so the villagers should act according to the resources they have in order to prevent the wastage of funds and the implementation of construction projects that are not proportionate to the budget.
The Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils, emphasizing the importance of educating villagers, stated: Training courses are held with the aim of familiarizing villagers with the principles of planning and the correct way of spending credits so that limited resources can be used more efficiently.
The transfer of village accounts was done based on the request
In another part of his speech about the transfer of bank accounts of villagers to National Bank, Abazarpour said: This action was done based on the written request of villagers and according to the conditions of access to bank branches.
He added: In Jask city, a number of villagers requested to transfer their accounts, and this issue was investigated based on the requests submitted.
Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils continued: In cases where the Post Bank did not have a branch and the villagers had to go to other cities to do their banking, the transfer of accounts was put on the agenda.
Referring to the MoU signed with the National Bank, Abazarpour said: Transferring accounts is subject to the terms of this MoU, and after the expiration of that period, the villagers can decide on the choice of bank based on their needs and desires.
At the same time, he noted: Villagers should be aware that the transfer of financial resources may affect the possibility of receiving bank facilities, because the amount of deposits and the turnover of villagers are effective in examining the request for facilities.
The beginning of the work of 80 financial and technical staff of village assistants
Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils, referring to the lack of manpower in rural districts, said: Last year, despite the war conditions, a recruitment test was held to provide the human resources needed by rural districts.

He emphasized: In order to provide the required manpower, the villagers must submit an official request, approval of the Council and the specifications of the required manpower, so that it is possible to follow up the recruitment in recruitment tests.
The Director General of Rural Affairs and Hormozgan Governorate Councils said at the end: Recruitment of human resources is subject to national regulations and approvals, and the Office of Rural Affairs is trying to resolve the lack of human resources in rural areas with the necessary follow-up.
