30% of the world's registered works of the country are located in Fars/keeping 56000 historical works in museums

Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Fars, referring to the historical capacities of this province, said: Fars has 16,000 valuable historical works, of which 3,500 works are registered in the list of national works, and more than 30% of Iran's world-registered works are located in this province. Also, nearly 56,000 historical objects belonging to the Achaemenid, Sassanid, Dilmi, Timurid and Zandiyeh periods are kept in Fars museums.
