Historic Kazeruni House in Shiraz Inaugurated

The inauguration ceremony of the historic Kazeruni House in Shiraz was held on the evening of Mehr 19, 1405, on the eve of Hafez Day, with the presence of Seyed Hadi Hosseini, adviser to the Minister of Cultural Heritage and board member of the Development and Revival Fund, and Mahdi Parsaei, Deputy for Tourism and Pilgrimage Coordination at the Fars Governorate.

The opening ceremony of the historic Kazrunian house in Shiraz was held on the evening of October 19, 1405 and on the eve of Hafez Shirazi's commemoration day, with the presence of Seyedhadi Hosseini, adviser to the Minister of Cultural Heritage and member of the Board of Directors of the Development and Revitalization Fund, and Mehdi Parsai, Deputy Coordinator of Tourism and Pilgrimage Affairs of Fars Governorate.

According to the report of Aria's Heritage reporter, Seyedhadi Hosseini, a member of the board of directors of the Ihya Fund, expressed his gratitude to the investor and operator of the complex, and emphasized the necessity of reviving the spirit and identity of historical buildings with the focus on the development of handicrafts.

By stating that the sustainability of restoration activities requires the creation of economic benefits for the activists of this field, he considered profitability as an effective factor in the longevity of the value of buildings and encouraging investors to participate in the revival of cultural heritage, and he praised the efforts of the activists of this field, referring to the precious view of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution on the restorers and restorers of historical monuments.

Supporting artists is protecting cultural heritage

Mehdi Parsaei, deputy governor of Fars, also expressed his gratitude to the investors and workers of the Development and Revitalization Fund, considering the support of artists as a valuable action and the cornerstone of the creation of works of art.

Pointing to the position of Shirazi artists and connoisseurs and quoting poems by Sheikh Ajal, Saadi Shirazi, he expressed hope that the light of the historical house of Kazeroonian will always be on and that this complex will become a center for the development of handicrafts and tourism in Fars province.

Taking advantage of the capacity of historical buildings for the development of handicrafts

Farzad Ojani, Director General of Marketing and Commercialization of Handicrafts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, also appreciated the actions of the Development and Restoration Fund, emphasized the importance of using the capacity of historical buildings in the development of handicrafts and expressed hope that this approach will continue with the expansion of joint cooperation in different provinces of the country.

In another part of this ceremony, which was held in the evening before the commemoration day of Hafez Shirazi, the performance of Hafez and the opening ceremony of this historical house was accompanied by the atmosphere of Persian poetry and literature.

It should be mentioned that the Kazerunian house belongs to the Qajar period and is located in Gud Araban neighborhood in Shiraz. This work has been registered as one of Iran's national works on 6th of February 1354 with registration number 1225.
