Yazd Police Uncover 1,290 Billion Rials in Tax Evasion

Yazd – The Yazd Provincial Police Commander announced the identification of over 1,290 billion rials in tax evasion at two commercial companies.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, quoted from the public relations of Yazd police force, Sardar Alireza Deliri said: The economic security police officers of the province realized that two manufacturing and trading companies have engaged in tax evasion by providing false financial information.

He added: After judicial coordination and with the assistance of experts from the Provincial Tax Administration, the officers investigated the matter and identified the tax evasion of more than 1,290 billion riyals by these companies.

The police chief of Yazd province said: The officials of the relevant companies were introduced to the legal authorities and required to pay the desired tax.
