Lada Iskra will be among the 10 best-selling cars in Russia in 2026 - AvtoVAZ CEO

Lada Iskra sales in September 2026 increased 35.8 times compared to the same period last year and reached 3400 units.

Moscow, October 12. /TASS/. AvtoVAZ CEO Maxim Sokolov said at a meeting at PromSpace National Industrial Congress that Lada Iskra will be among the top ten best-selling Russian car models by the end of 2026.

He said: "Last year, we started the production of Lada Iskra and I am sure that by the end of this year, it will be among the ten best-selling models in our country."

According to the analysis agency Avtostat, sales of Lada Iskra in September 2026 increased by 35.8 times compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 3400 units. In the period of nine months, 25,200 cars were sold, which is an increase of 196.7 times compared to the previous year. For both periods, this model ranked eighth among the best-selling new passenger cars in Russia.

Serial production of Lada Iskra began on April 19, 2025, and sales began on July 18, 2025. This model is available in three body styles: sedan, SW station wagon and SW Cross station wagon.
