Pezeshkian: We Will Not Allow Enemy to Achieve Its Goals by Creating Social Discontent

Pointing to attacks on the country's infrastructure, the President stressed continued gas and electricity production through the winter, use of domestic capacities, expanded powers for provincial managers, and strengthening the role of mosques in resolving people's problems.

Ambassador of Arjan-Political Group: President Masoud Mezikian, today (Thursday, October 23) in an online speech at the East Azerbaijan Planning and Development Council, referring to the enemy's attacks on the country's infrastructure, said: The enemy hit our gas, hit our power plants and targeted our factories, but we are determined with the help of the dear people of our country and managers, not to let the country's gas and electricity production face problems in the winter.

He stated that the enemy thought that by attacking the country, everything would automatically fall apart, adding: The enemy thought that if he attacked, there would be a famine and everything would fall apart.

Emphasizing the role of different parts of the society in overcoming difficult conditions, the President stated: With the help of trades, producers, artisans and the collection of managers and servants of the country, we were able to stand strong until now, and from now on, we will stand strong with the help of the people.

We will not allow the enemy to achieve his goals to create dissatisfaction in the country

Referring to the performance of the country's military and security forces, the medical officer said: the security and military forces, commanders, corps and Basij forces did a great job and today we are proud in the region. No power imagined that commanders, soldiers and defenders of the country could be so stable against these attacks.

Emphasizing the need to support the production sector, he added: We must try in every possible way so that the country's production, industry and supply of electricity and gas remain stable in any situation and the producers can continue their activities.

The enemy seeks to create social discontent

Appreciating the support of the people and economic activists in the country's difficult situation, the president said: "The people and you dear ones are cooperating and you know the situation we are in." During the 48 years that have passed since the revolution, we have never been under siege, war and a series of troubles with such severity.

Referring to the attacks of the enemy and the martyrdom of the leader of the revolution, the commanders, managers and ministers, the doctor stated: the enemy attacked with all his strength and expected to fall with the martyrdom of our beloved leader and the commanders and officials of the country, the system and the country; But not only this did not happen, but our cohesion, unity and empathy increased.

Stating that the enemy is trying to block the communication routes of the country, he said: They have closed the roads, they have blocked the sea route and they are also trying to limit the air route. They are trying to close all the ways so that we cannot serve the dear people of our country and the people face problems and dissatisfaction, and finally, social protests are formed and the enemy achieves his evil intentions.

The president emphasized: "With your help, manufacturers, exporters and entrepreneurs, we will not allow this sinister intention of America to come to fruition." We are standing and by God's will, with the help of all the dear people of our country, we will provide the supplies and needs of the country in every possible way.

Solving the country's problems by relying on domestic capacities

Emphasizing the necessity of synergy and using the provincial capacities to solve the country's problems, the doctor said: We must join hands and solve our own problems in the country. We should not only look at Tehran; As I was once in Tabriz, I had the same belief.

Referring to the capacity of various cities of East Azerbaijan, including Tabriz, Marand, Jolfa, Ahar, Maragheh and Malkan, he added: There are capacities in all these cities and each of us can build what we want. We have delegated this authority and we can delegate more powers so that you can show your creativity and ability to build the country, Iran and disappoint the enemy.

The president further stated: The enemy thinks that if he closes the roads, we will not be able to find a way to solve the problems. But we will find a way with your help. Many times in Tabriz, we have held a meeting and talked with the loved ones who are present in this group. Our will is to either find a way or build a way, and God willing, we will do this with your help.

Provincial managers must act with authority and initiative

Referring to the powers assigned to the provincial managers, the doctors said: We will discuss closely with each other about the work situation of the province and the measures that should be taken. We have given powers to the managers and now the principles and logic dictate that everyone should not rely on the president.

He continued: All of you and the loved ones present in this gathering can do what I or any other person does in Tehran and other cities. When I was the president of the university, my concern was why people are sitting in Tehran and do not allow us to do our work; While we do not lack anything from those who are in Tehran.

Emphasizing the ability of managers and specialist forces in different provinces of the country, the president said: "Even today, I believe that the dear ones who are working hard in all the provinces of the country do not lack anything from us who are in Tehran." If we create the belief in ourselves that we are not less than others, the ground is prepared for fundamental changes.

Referring to the support of the people and the officials in the country's difficult situation, the doctor said: "If we are standing in the country today, it is because we believe that we are not inferior to other countries." People cooperate and you, dear ones, are also cooperating, and relying on these capacities and empathy, we can overcome problems.

We can solve the country's problems by relying on domestic capacities

Emphasizing the need to strengthen people's participation in solving the country's problems, the president said: "If we believe that we ourselves are responsible for solving the problems of our region, city and country, we can find solutions for problems and problems by relying on our existing capacities."

The necessity of believing in internal capabilities to solve problems

He further pointed out the need to be responsible for society's issues and stated: We should have this view that we live in a city and we have a responsibility based on which we should serve the people. We should follow the same approach at the provincial and national level.

He added: Today in Iran, we should think that we are ourselves and Iran; Can't the people, elites, academics and administrators solve the problems of our country by having this water and soil? Even if we assume that no one is with us and the roads are closed, will we not be able to solve our problems?

Stating that belief in domestic capabilities can pave the way to solving problems, the president said: If we believe that the responsibility for solving the region's problems lies with us, we will find solutions for the region's problems. If we consider ourselves responsible for our neighborhood, we can solve neighborhood problems.

Doctors continued: We are responsible for our own school, health center, and hospital, and we must be able to ensure people's health. If doctors, teachers and students also help and are present in the field, we will solve the problems.

Referring to the issue of mosque-centered and neighborhood-centered, he clarified: this approach actually means neighborhood governance and people's participation in policy-making, decision-making, and solving their own problems.

Emphasizing the need to strengthen communication and cooperation between people at the neighborhood level, the president stated: People of the same neighborhood should not be unaware of each other's situation; They should pay attention to each other from education, livelihood, employment, health, trade and service issues.

Referring to the role of the mosque in organizing the affairs of the neighborhood, the doctor added: the mosque can actually be the center of this type of participation and management of affairs. The mosque had such a role during the time of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and we must be able to revive the same approach.

Recalling the experience of the early years of the Islamic Revolution in using the capacity of mosques to address people's issues, he said: We must return to the situation where people's problems could be tracked and resolved through the mosque.

The need to redefine the role of city councils and mosques

Also referring to the role of the city councils in dealing with people's issues, the doctors said: We should return to the duties of the city councils and put them on the path of their real responsibility.

Emphasizing the necessity of dialogue about how to strengthen the role of mosques in solving people's problems, he noted: God willing, we will talk more about the mosque issue in the future, and it is necessary to have a dialogue with the mosques themselves and their officials.

Referring to the necessity of a change of attitude in the administration of neighborhood affairs, the president said: One side of the issue is that the managers, imams or members of the mosque's board of trustees believe that they should use the capacity of the mosque and the participation of the residents of the neighborhood to solve people's problems.
