An armed bystander stops a suspected gunman at a Bend, Oregon school

Retired FBI Special Agent Rob Chadwick joins Brian Keelmead to discuss the school shooting at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, in which three children and a teacher were killed.

During a news conference Friday, police identified the teacher killed in the shooting as 25-year-old Megan Lambert, and also announced that among the youngest victims was 5-year-old Ravam Sommer.

"Meghan was compassionate and had a big heart. She always fought for the weak and those with special needs. She was an incredible sister, daughter, niece and granddaughter. Her friends became her family," Lambert's family said in a statement read at the news conference.

Gianmarco, a local carpenter and father, has two daughters who attend Silver Rail, his brother Kyle Gianmarco told NBC News.

Kyle Gianmarco shared that Kaylub was shaken by the event and did not want to talk to the public.

"We want the bystander who intervened to know that we know he's going through a difficult time, but we're grateful and think he's a hero," the family added in the statement. "You selflessly put yourself at risk for others. We want the other families to know they are in our thoughts and prayers. Meghan loved those children and so we love you."

Three students aged 5, 8 and 11 were also killed in this shooting.
