Kiev fears more demands from Trump - the media
The newspaper noted that a possible reduction in US aid to Kyiv would be a threat to Ukraine
Berlin, October 12. /TASS/. According to Bild, citing sources, US President Donald Trump's statements about agreements to supply Russian diesel fuel have shocked the whole of Europe, especially Kiev, because they fear that the American leader will make more demands.
Kiev is not ruling out that Trump will "go even further in the coming weeks" to pressure Kiev to stop its attacks on Russian oil refineries. Meanwhile, Europe is increasingly worried about the public spat between Volodymyr Zelensky and Trump, who said "it's time for Ukraine to elect a new president." Bild noted that a possible reduction in US aid to Kyiv would be a threat to Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump had a phone call on October 9, where they discussed in particular the supply of petroleum products. The Russian President said that Moscow has once again emphasized its readiness to supply oil and oil products to America and the world markets. According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, Russia will lift the diesel export ban ahead of schedule and is ready to supply 300,000 tons of diesel in October, increasing the volume to 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons in December. Monthly reserves can subsequently reach 3 million tons. The US government, in turn, issued a general license to supply Russian diesel to the world market until April 7, 2027.
On October 10, the US leader said that his country had repeatedly asked Zelensky to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries, but he would not listen.
