Emphasis on Developing Atmospheric Monitoring Infrastructure and Meteorological Funding in Semnan Province

At a meeting between the Director General of Meteorology of Semnan Province and the lawmaker for Damghan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, emphasis was placed on the key role of seasonal and short-term forecasts in managing climate impacts such as El Niño and La Niña, as well as the need to develop the province's atmospheric monitoring infrastructure and strengthen its funding.

In the meeting of the director general of meteorology of Semnan province with the representative of the noble people of Damghan city in the Islamic Council, the key role of seasonal and short-term forecasts in the management of climatic consequences such as El Nino and La Nina was emphasized, as well as the necessity of developing the province's weather monitoring infrastructure and increasing and strengthening the credits of that city.
