Netanyahu: Now Is Not the Time to Attack Iran
The Israeli prime minister said a preemptive strike on Iran is not warranted before the elections.
Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that he is not in favor of a pre-emptive attack against Iran before the October 27 Israeli elections, but at the same time warned Tehran and its proxies about attacking Israel.
In an interview with Israel Army Radio, Netanyahu claimed in an interview with Israel Army Radio, in response to a question about the possibility of a pre-emptive attack and the claims of his political rivals that he is looking for a military confrontation before the elections, that it is not suitable for us and it is not in our best interest.
Continuing his claim, Netanyahu added: "Even if Iran fires a missile at us, they will still blame me." However, he repeated his previous warnings to Iran and said that Israel will give a decisive response if attacked.
