We are now on the verge of drafting the next year's budget bill, and we have to discuss the budget issues of the second half of the year so that things go smoothly.

He added: The government also intends to submit the law amendment bill of the 7th plan to the parliament. Therefore, it was necessary to talk to each other and discuss the existing basic concerns such as people's livelihood, production and employment, and determine how to prioritize these issues. It was a very good meeting; The more we talk to each other and bring our views closer to each other, the easier we can move things forward.

The head of the Program and Budget Organization stated: In this meeting, it was emphasized that we should act quickly considering the war conditions. It means that the number of meetings should be increased and economic teams and social issues should be discussed together.

About next year's budget, Pourmohammadi noted: When the budget is to be set, it has basic assumptions, some of which we discussed with friends in this meeting. Because we are now on the verge of drafting the budget bill, we must set important priorities together; The places where we can reduce the cost, and the places where the structures need to be modified, will be corrected so that the next year can proceed smoothly.

He said about the 7th Development Plan: Two issues were raised in this meeting; First of all, we had to present the performance report of the program in the second year, which was submitted to the Honorable Speaker of the Parliament and it was decided to determine the steps of its review in the Parliament. Second, we must amend the law of the 7th plan; Naturally, the government should present a bill, but the characteristics of this bill should be such that the government and the parliament can prepare, submit and approve it with a common understanding.

In the end, Pourmohammadi noted: Some of these issues had already been discussed in the meetings with the heads of the budget and economy commissions, and another part was decided to be discussed again to be finalized.
