Details of the "Brave" competition; Various challenges were designed for the participants

The director of the documentary "Deliran" competition mentioned the details of the second season of this competition, which was recorded in Chabahar.

Cinema and TV director Majid Rostgar, referring to his experience of directing the documentary "Deliran" competition, which is aired on Nahal network these days, told Mehr reporter: "In the second season of the documentary series "Deliran" competition, we tried to improve the performance and visual quality of the competition by changing the way of selecting participants and designing new challenges.

Rastgar explained about the "Deliran" documentary competition as a reality show: the goal was for the participants to find a specific personality and the audience could connect with them and follow their success. For the second season, we called all over the country and about 2,500 people wanted to participate in the competition. Various components such as the art of expression, the ability to communicate, having an artistic skill and mastering at least 2 sports were among the selection criteria. About 50 people were invited for a face-to-face interview, and after the evaluation and holding the training course, 12 people were selected as the final participants.

He added: In the second season, we designed the challenges to be more difficult so that the competition is more attractive in terms of performance and visuals. Crossing a height of about 30 meters and zipline challenges were among the ideas of this season. Due to the nature of these competitions, the participants received the necessary training, and we also tried to use complementary skills in dividing the groups; So that at least one person with rock climbing experience is present in each group.

This director said about the selection of locations for the second season: I spent about 2 weeks to identify suitable locations for filming. An important part of the race was recorded in Chabahar and its surrounding areas, and we used locations in places that may not have been seen on TV before. In the following, parts of the collection were photographed in the north of the country to create more geographical and visual diversity in the work.

Rastegar explained about the production difficulties of this season: The first part of filming was done in April last year, but the 12-day war and then the war conditions during the filming of the second part interrupted the production schedule, and finally the post-production work took longer.

In the end, referring to the technical complexities of this documentary competition, he said: due to the number of locations and the nature of the challenges, the production of the collection required careful planning. In the parts where it was important to record various images of routes, crossings and challenges, we used the equipment and cinematography method to record the images with appropriate quality. Running the competition in real situations also had its own difficulties, but we tried to make the second season a different experience than the first season in terms of challenge design, participant selection and visual variety.
