Six Thieves Arrested in Salseleh's Neighborhood-Based Security Enhancement Plan

Alashtar — Salseleh Police Commander announced the arrest of six thieves and one small-scale drug dealer over the past 48 hours under the neighborhood-based security enhancement plan.

According to Mehr reporter, Colonel Kamran Hassanvand, in a conversation with the media on Wednesday afternoon, announced the implementation of the neighborhood-based security improvement plan with the aim of combating crimes and increasing public security in polluted and crime-prone areas of this city.

Explaining the details of this plan, he stated: The neighborhood-based security improvement plan, after judicial coordination and with the presence of law enforcement officers, was implemented in the target areas of the city of Selah during the last 48 hours.

Arresting 6 thieves and discovering 8 cases of theft

Referring to the measures taken during this plan, the police commander of the dynasty added: the officers identified and arrested 6 robbers by taking advantage of intelligence elites and carrying out police measures.

Hasanvand continued: During the police investigation, the arrested thieves confessed to committing 8 types of theft, and the investigation of their cases was put on the agenda.

He also announced the arrest of a drug retailer and the discovery of quantities of drugs during the implementation of this project and said: In this regard, 2,820 smuggled cigarettes were discovered and 2 people were arrested on charges of smuggling.

Referring to the measures taken in the field of social harms, the police commander of the chain stated: during the implementation of this plan, four drug addicts were collected and handed over to the addiction treatment camp.

Referring to traffic violations and causing nuisance in the city, Hassanvand said: In total, 18 cars and 6 motorcycles were impounded and taken to the parking lot due to violations such as not using helmets, causing noise pollution, distorting license plates, not providing identification documents, not having a license or accompanying documents, and causing a disturbance.
