Iran's Pressure on the U.S. in the Strait of Hormuz

In any management structure, criticism serves as a mirror and clearly shows the path to reform. Yet today we are witnessing a phenomenon in which the line between constructive criticism and targeted demolition has become blurred.

According to Ambassador Arjan's report, Aghaz newspaper wrote: In every management structure, criticism has the power of a mirror and clearly shows the path of reform. But today we are witnessing a phenomenon in which the border between constructive criticism and targeted destruction has become blurred. At a time when we are facing a combined American war; It should be accepted that criticism is not only necessary, but also necessary for the survival of any system, but not every voice is criticism. Criticism is a view based on "correction". A real critic is someone who wants the system to work better, so he sees the flaws to find a way to fix them. But destruction is a view based on denial. When matters such as the closure of the parliament or general and undocumented accusations of the government's weakness and laziness are raised, we are no longer faced with criticism. Criticism enters performance, but destruction attacks structure.

In fact, criticism is one of the most valuable social and political tools, but this right comes with responsibility. Criticism without a solution leads to the creation of an atmosphere of despair, and finally, instead of forcing the government or parliament to reform, it takes away their power and executive will. The fact is, we are living in a war situation, and the United States, as usual, is speaking with Iran and Iranians using the language of threats and sanctions. In the space drawn, one should ask: "Why are some people seeking to destroy officials and forces, and why is America threatening on the one hand, and on the other hand, is it facing confusion towards Iran?" In this regard, we have had a conversation with Ezzatullah Yousefian Molla, a political activist who has a history of being in the country's legislative body:

Mr. Yousefian! You have a history of attending the Islamic Council. We have seen that some politicians and media keep emphasizing that the parliament is closed. Recently, a member of the parliament claimed that due to the safety of the speaker of the parliament, the public forum is closed, while the meetings of the House of the Nation are held publicly and via webinar. They even criticized the government, why do you think such things are expressed by the members of the society?! Unfortunately, these objections are not calculated, you cannot rely on every word. The government has announced that anyone who is dissatisfied with our performance can express their opinion and anyone who has a suggestion can raise it, but regarding the opponents who are looking for destruction, you can see that their actions are not calculated.

Today they have one claim and tomorrow something else; For example, today they take the excuse of the closure of the parliament and tomorrow they attack some issue in the government. Therefore, these claims cannot be seen as a precise political movement with political roots. By God's grace, despite creating various disturbances, these measures have not been effective until today, and the government has been able to properly manage the affairs of the country in this sensitive situation. Well, we are in a sensitive situation and America is threatening Iran with its rhetoric, but basically it is facing confusion in two military and economic wars. What is your analysis of the twisted policies of the United States towards Iran?

Really, in the situation that has happened to the country, the Americans have been confused, unplanned, and not sufficiently aware of the situation of the Iranian people from the beginning. They don't know what the Iranian people think and what their situation is. Also, despite all their claims of satellite dominance and recognition of the country's soil and waters, they do not have a correct understanding of our climatic and geographical conditions. They used all their power and tried to insinuate that with the assassination of the country's top officials, the work of governance is over, but they saw that new officials were immediately appointed and placed in their positions. What happened to them did not happen. They thought that people would come to the square in the direction of their desires, but their imagination was crude.

This process continued for some time, but in the end, the enemy gave up on the path due to the futility of his actions. They thought that with the removal of various ranks of the government and the martyrdom of our dear leader, the government would be in trouble, but they saw that nothing special happened and all their military pressures remained fruitless. They even targeted the offices of the Council of Leadership Experts in Qom and other places, as well as the Expediency Council, in order to prevent the holding of the meetings, but they observed that the new leader was appointed and the conditions of the country continued to be stable. Therefore, they stopped these actions as well.

Then they decided to go for wider sanctions, not knowing that since the beginning of the revolution, we have been faced with sanctions like "Damato", which have been extended more than 40 times in these forty years. After that, separate sanctions were imposed on Iran by the United Nations, the European Union, the White House, and the US Treasury Department, but again they observed that the result they expected did not come and the country continues to run its affairs. Of course, this economic blockade imposes costs on the nation and the system, but still the result they expect will not be achieved. Although the people are under pressure and they predicted daily that Iran's economy would not last and would collapse within a few weeks or months, but this did not happen. They also did not imagine that Iran could resist in this way by closing the Strait of Hormuz.

In such a way that even some officials of the previous American administrations, such as Mrs. Clinton, were surprised by the positions of the Trump administration and said that we did not even think that Iran could resist like this. There are also those who have a strange sensitivity to the price of oil and are worried that its fluctuations will destroy their economy and cause a crisis. Therefore, the enemy should either give up on all these issues or accept that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain as it is. This situation has put them in a dead end. Now there are practically two sides of the scale for them; One side is the issue of monopoly and economic blockade of Iran and the other side is the issue of the Strait of Hormuz. As much as the Americans put weight on the bottom of the siege, the Islamic Republic can also put weight on the bottom of the Strait of Hormuz and create a balance. In fact, whatever pressure America puts on Iran, the same pressure is applied to itself; It means that a balance has been established that has made the Americans desperate.
