Quran Achievers in Dir County Honored
Bushehr: A ceremony honoring Quran achievers and laureates of the Imam Khomeini Quran House of the Education Department of Dir County was held with the attendance of officials, instructors, parents, and Quran students.
Bushehr - The honoring ceremony of the dignitaries and selected Quranic Dar al-Qur'an of Imam Khomeini (RA) of Deir City Education was held with the presence of officials, teachers, parents and Quranic students.
According to Mehr reporter, the head of Imam Khomeini's Dar al-Qur'an (RA) in Deir city, while presenting a report on the four-year performance of this center on Tuesday afternoon, stressed the need for officials to pay special attention to the provision of physical infrastructure for the continuation of Quranic successes.
Referring to the privileged position of this dar al-quran, Jamila Fakhraei said: during the two-year monitoring of the performance of dar al-quran by the Ministry of Education and also provincial evaluations, Dar al-quran of Imam Khomeini (ra) of Deir city managed to get the second rank among 22 active centers in Bushehr province, which is the result of the round-the-clock efforts of our teachers and colleagues.
He further pointed to the performance statistics of the last four years and added: so far, nearly 395 valid certificates have been issued and the number of female and male Quran learners has reached 450 and 385 respectively. Also, currently 70 Quran memorizers and more than 300 Quran learners are being taught in the field of recitation.
Imam Khomeini, Director of Dar Al-Qur'an Education in Deir city, enumerated the activities carried out and addressed the key functions of this center and said: holding empowerment courses for primary teachers (grades 1 to 6) in schools of the city and suburbs (Abdan, Lambdan, Durahek and Bardestan) by providing in-service certificates, supervising schools and completing provincial evaluation forms with a focus on prayer meetings, student boards and congregational imams, and holding Quranic competitions. It has been in common with institutions such as Basij of Sisters and Brothers, Resistance Bases and Revolutionary Guards and continuous presence in schools and conducting weekly circles to identify talents and attract students as much as possible, including the performance of this Darul-Qur'an.
Fakhraei criticized the lack of physical facilities and explained: Imam Khomeini's Dar al-Qur'an (may Allah be pleased with him) lacks an independent building, prayer hall, and meeting hall despite extensive activities. Nevertheless, we made up for this shortcoming by taking advantage of the opposite shift capacity of schools (such as Forough Andisheh, Baath, and Exceptional Schools) and creative management, and even submitted documentation of our activities to the ministry, which was praised and noticed by the ministry officials.
In the final part of his speech, addressing the local and executive officials of the city, he stated: The fate of these innocent Quran learners depends on our support today. I request the officials, including the governor and the respected Friday imam, by allocating funds and following up to provide an independent physical space, not to allow Quranic activities to continue to be limited to temporary spaces.
At the end, Fakhraei expressed his special thanks to the principals of the accompanying schools, and expressed his hope that with special attention to the fields of Quranic sciences, a stable platform for the growth of brilliant Quranic talents in Deir city will be provided.
