Faith is the most important source of strength
Emphasizing that the most important source of power is faith, he clarified: If we won proudly in the war that was imposed on us recently, and the enemy was defeated shamefully, the main element of our power is faith.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army continued: The root of faith is in these circles, in the mosques, delegations and ceremonies of Hazrat Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS); A ceremony in which we gather every year and recite "Hihat Mena Al-Dazlah".
Major General Hatami added: The root of faith is in itikaf. A place where dear young people gather, present themselves in the presence of the Almighty God, take stock of their souls, purify themselves and start a new phase of their lives. Maybe in this short period, they will get the good of this world and the hereafter, and complete good in the end.
He said: I hope Almighty God will accept all of you and all of us who are the servants of this great group of believers. There is no place for me to talk about I'tikaf in the company of nobles, scholars and elders. You must expect me to raise some points about the main issues, the main issue of which is the war; Therefore, I will briefly state two or three points.
The enemy made a mistake in evaluating Iran's power and people's support

He added: Like Saddam, the enemy thought that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as they say, are not at the peak of their power, so the enemy was also wrong about the people of Iran. Considering the many pressures he had put on this nation and knowing how much he had committed crimes against them, he thought the people were tired; So he attacked.
Referring to the martyrdom of a group of officials and people in these attacks, Major General Hatami said: Our dear Imam, our dear commanders, large groups of people, dear children of Minab school and dear Dr. Kazemi were martyred. These were great losses for us and the martyrdom of our dear Imam was very difficult.
Our Martyr Imam had built society and institutions
He stated that the enemy made a mistake once again and stated: The enemy thought that the Islamic Republic of Iran is independent just like the countries under its control. Unaware that our imam had built society and institutions.
The commander in chief of the army added: One of the examples of this institution building is the retreat. Our dear Imam had created hundreds, if not thousands of such collections that strengthen the society.
Major General Hatami stated: Our dear Imam was martyred, but none of those predictions happened and people came to the square with all their strength.

Major General Hatami added: The enemy did not believe that hundreds of shots would be fired at him in the first hour, in the first two hours and on the first day, but this happened.
