Javani: Enemy Failed in Military War; Jihad of Explanation and Service Must Be Strengthened

Gorgan – IRGC Deputy for Political Affairs, stressing the need for jihad of explanation, said countering the enemy's cognitive warfare requires public awareness and officials' field presence alongside the people.

According to the Mehr correspondent, Sardar Yadullah Javani, at the sixth meeting of the Joint Administrative Council with Jihad Tebein Headquarters in Golestan Governorate, pointed to the recent developments and the enemy's failure to realize their military goals, and stated: The enemy entered the war with the idea that he could bring the Islamic Republic of Iran to its knees in a short period of time, but the resistance of the Iranian people and the readiness of the armed forces failed their calculations.

The political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the enemy has prioritized cognitive warfare and influencing public opinion after failing in the military arena, and added: Today, the enemy is trying to undermine public trust with false narratives, distortion of facts, slander and creating ambiguity.

Referring to the so-called "peace through power" strategy in the US government's policies, he said: the enemy thought that he could achieve his goals by using military power and without adhering to human and legal restrictions and considerations, but Iran's resistance showed that the Iranian nation cannot be destroyed by a military battle.

Referring to the threats of the US against Iran, Javani continued: As Imam Khomeini (RA) emphasized that the US can do no wrong, and the martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani also believed that when the war starts from the enemy, the end will be determined by the resistance. In the recent developments, the Iranian nation showed by its standing that the enemy's calculations about the country's defense power and the will of the people were not accurate.

He stated that, in his opinion, the consequences of the recent war will go beyond Iran's borders, and clarified: Although this war is not a world war in terms of its title and form, its consequences can affect the world order, power geometry, and regional and international equations.

The jihad of explanation is the jihad of raising awareness and confronting distorted narratives

The political vice-president of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized that the jihad of explanation means raising awareness, enlightening, answering doubts and presenting the correct narrative of the facts, and stated that the enemy seeks to distort the facts and induce despair in the society by using satellite networks, virtual space and media streams against the Islamic Republic.

Sardar Javani added: Jihad Tebayin camp should provide a platform for dialogue with people and answers to their questions and doubts with coherent planning and using the capacities of executive bodies, educational centers, universities, schools, factories and offices.

Referring to the experience of the unrest in the past years, Javani said: One of the axes of the enemy's activity is exploiting people's lack of awareness and insufficient understanding of issues and developments. Therefore, the field of direct dialogue with young people should be provided so that their questions and doubts can be answered in a suitable atmosphere.

Emphasizing that the Jihad of explanation is an urgent necessity, he noted: This Jihad should not be limited to holding meetings, but should take place in people's daily lives, educational environments, offices, production centers and social circles.

The necessity of connecting service jihad and explanation jihad in Golestan

The political vice-president of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps emphasized the necessity of connecting jihad of service and jihad of explanation and added: In addition to trying to solve the problems of the people, the authorities should also transparently inform about the actions and services provided; Because people's awareness of the efforts made can help to clear ambiguities and strengthen public trust.

Javani continued: Even if people are in difficult living conditions, when they see the day and night efforts of officials, managers, ministers, governors and governors to solve their problems, these hardships will become more bearable for them. But if they are unaware of these efforts, the enemy can distort the facts to make it appear that the officials do not care about the people.

Referring to the presence of the people of Gorgan in the night gatherings, he said: the officials should be present with the people and this presence should not be limited to participating in the gatherings, but should be accompanied by dialogue, answering, setting up service tables and providing advice.

The political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps asked Golestan governor to provide more active presence of managers, governors, prefects, mayors and other officials among the people and added: the presence of officials with the people, listening to their demands and presenting a clear report of the actions taken can help strengthen empathy and social cohesion.

Emphasizing the role of the people in maintaining national cohesion and dealing with cognitive warfare

Stating that the enemy is also investing in creating dissatisfaction and discord in the society, Javani said: Strengthening national unity, increasing public awareness and responding to ambiguities are among the necessities of successfully overcoming the current situation.

He added: Just as the armed forces are responsible in the field of defense, the executive officials should also come to the field by providing effective services and solving the problems of the people, and media and cultural activists should also play a role in the field of explaining the facts.

Pointing to the importance of raising awareness among students, students and employees of executive bodies, the political deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated: Jihad of explanation should become a continuous flow in schools, universities, factories and offices so that people can raise their questions and receive documented and clear answers.

Referring to the religious foundations of Jihad, Sardar Javani said: In Islamic teachings, Mujahideen is not limited to the military field, and fighting with language and explaining the truth is also considered one of the important areas of Jihad. Therefore, military jihad, service jihad, and explanation jihad must be pursued side by side.

Emphasizing the necessity of increasing the efforts of executive bodies and cultural and media groups, he noted: the goal should be to strengthen national cohesion, increase people's awareness, reduce the enemy's abuse of ambiguities and dissatisfactions, and provide a platform for the country's progress and solve society's problems.
