Sardar Naghdi: The Faith of the Iranian People Is the Main Factor in Victory Over the Enemy

Rasht – A senior adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, stressing the role of people's faith and beliefs in confronting the enemy, said: What has brought the Iranian nation victory against major powers is faith, steadfastness, and the spirit of sacrifice.

According to Mehr reporter, Sardar Mohammad Reza Naghdi, in the meeting of Iran's martyrs in Rasht, on Thursday afternoon, honoring the memory of Imam Rahal, the leader of the martyr of the Islamic Revolution and the martyrs of the country, said: "The Iranian nation has given a new meaning to honor, freedom and stability with its resistance and has introduced a new model of resistance to the world."

Appreciating the continuous presence of the people in public gatherings, he added: The Iranian nation, with faith and loyalty to its covenant with God, stood up to the great powers of the world and with its resistance, failed the enemy in achieving its goals.

Referring to the declared goals of the enemy in the recent war, the Supreme Advisor of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC stated: The overthrow of the Islamic Republic and the disintegration of Iran were among the goals that the enemy pursued, but the failure to realize these goals was evident from the very first days, and subsequently, heavy blows were inflicted on the enemy's military strength.

People's faith; The main reason for the failure of the enemy

Emphasizing that the real strength of the Iranian nation is beyond military equipment and facilities, Naqdi stated: the enemy tries to attribute its failures to the lack of weapons, while the main factor behind the victory of the Iranian nation is the faith, belief and spirit of sacrifice of the warriors and people.

Referring to the difference between the morale of the Iranian forces and the enemy forces, he said: Iranian warriors are present in the field believing in religious ideals and following the example of personalities such as Hazrat Abul Fazl al-Abbas (AS) and Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS), and this faith and belief strengthens their motivation to defend the country.

The Supreme Advisor of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army considered the commanders and warriors of the Holy Defense era as an example of this spirit and added: The commanders who participated in the fronts without material expectations and only for the pleasure of God, left lasting examples of sacrifice and sincerity for future generations.

Referring to a memory from the Holy Defense era about Ayatollah Siddimjatbi Khamenei, Naqdi said: According to the narration of one of the commanders of the Holy Defense era, after the end of the war, he returned his Basij uniform to be used by another fighter and also paid the amount that he probably owed for using the facilities of Baitul Mal.

He considered this memory as a sign of the spirit of mobilization and simple life and emphasized: What strengthens the faith of warriors is to observe the same spirit of sincerity, responsibility and practical adherence to values among the commanders.

Iranian people are the flag bearers of freedom in the world

Referring to the reflection of recent developments in the international arena, the Supreme Advisor of the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC said: The Iranian nation today is known as the flag bearer of freedom and defense of the truth due to its standing and resistance, and this presence has attracted the attention of different nations of the world.

Referring to the international opposition to the policies of the United States and the Zionist regime, Naqdi added: Recent developments have shown that hegemonic approaches have faced widespread opposition, and the Iranian nation's stand has found a special place in this.

He also pointed to the role of faith and the spirit of sacrifice in the contemporary history of Iran and said: In order to understand the spirit of self-sacrifice of the Iranian people, in addition to reviewing historical epics such as the movement of Mirza Kochch Khan and the era of holy defense, we can point to the sacrifices that have been displayed by soldiers and medical personnel in recent incidents and conflicts.

People should continue the path of victory with continuous presence

Referring to the presence of people in popular gatherings for several days and declaring their support for the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, Naqdi clarified: The people of Iran have shown that they are determined to defend their values and ideals by believing in their path and standing on the stage.

Referring to military calculations and the possible consequences of the expansion of conflicts, he said: the enemy is facing limitations in military decision-making due to heavy costs and unpredictable consequences, and in such a situation, he tries to use economic tools and political pressures to influence Iran's internal environment.

Referring to the sanctions and restrictions imposed on Iran, the Supreme Advisor of the Supreme Commander of the IRGC emphasized: the enemy hopes to weaken the national will through economic pressures and creating problems for the people, but the Iranian nation will thwart these calculations by maintaining unity and conscious presence in the scene.
