Zelensky: Russia Has Shown Disrespect Toward America

Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine's president, accused Moscow of disregarding Donald Trump's positions following Russian missile and drone attacks on the country's energy infrastructure. Citing power outages affecting hundreds of thousands of people, he urged the US president to impose tougher sanctions on Russia and provide Kyiv with more Patriot interceptor missiles.

Ambassador Arjan-International Group: Zelensky published a statement about Russia's attacks on Ukraine last night and again took a stand against Washington's gas oil deal with Moscow.

The president of Ukraine wrote on X (former Twitter): "Last night, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and cruise missiles (suicide) against our energy and vital infrastructure in Kyiv, Kyiv region and Kharkiv."

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, "It was a targeted Russian ballistic missile attack that clearly targeted energy infrastructure; The same infrastructures that were included in the ceasefire announced by the American president.

The president of Ukraine then pointed to the ceasefire announced by Donald Trump on the war between Ukraine and Russia and claimed that Russia had insulted the United States. He said: "This attack was completely deliberate and in terms of scale, it was a show; Never before has Russia shown such blatant and brazen disrespect for the United States. "Russia does not consider the statements of the American president to be strong and serious."

Zelensky reported: "Currently, at least 600,000 people are left without electricity, and the range of outages may be even wider." Unfortunately, considerable damage has been done to facilities and equipment; including to 26 facilities in the electricity network and four facilities in our oil and gas sector...unfortunately, this attack has also left casualties and injuries."

The President of Ukraine said: "We ask America and all those in the world who do not close their eyes to the reality to react; That is a decisive reaction. Russia has missed the opportunity to de-escalate and has decided to continue its insane and destructive war." Zelensky added: "We call on President Trump to impose strong sanctions against Russia...

The President of the United States has all the effective and necessary tools at his disposal to achieve peace through power, justice and pressure on the aggressor. The president of Ukraine added: "We want to send additional shipments of Patriot interceptor missiles to Ukraine."

It is absolutely appropriate to tell the United States, Europe and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone in the face of such a crazy and warmongering actor as Russia.

Thank you to everyone who helps Ukraine. "Peace can only be achieved through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of (Ronald) Reagan."
