As part of IGN Fan Fest 2026: Fall Edition, we're proud to present five new screenshots of For the Stars, Snail Games USA's survival game exploring and inhabiting planets, uncovering the secrets of alien civilizations, and much more.

The images below show some of For The Stars' biomes, weapons, flora and fauna, vehicles, spaceships, and more. They also offer a glimpse of a multiplayer experience that allows friends to explore this world together.

Players will travel from planet to planet and build bases to upgrade their technology, study alien artifacts and natural phenomena, and survive every challenge that comes their way in an effort to become more powerful and "explore further into the unknown."

As for outposts, players must balance the needs of each area with appropriate laboratories, factories, and living quarters. Spacecrafts are also upgradeable and can be customized to make them unique and suitable for any task at hand.

And yes, friends can come along for the ride. Collaborate on building projects, share various discoveries, and work together to overcome any obstacle. Additionally, Snail Games USA acknowledges that players can "enter contested regions to battle other players for control of the galaxy."
