The President of Egypt has asked the parliament of this country to hold an emergency meeting and issue a license for the "defense and protection of Saudi Arabia".
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, quoted by Al-Mayadeen, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi asked the country's parliament to hold an extraordinary meeting in order to issue the necessary authorization for what he called "defending Saudi Arabia and protecting it".
Al-Sisi said: We must not forget the support of our brothers in the Persian Gulf countries for Egypt. We stand strong and fully support the protection of the land of our brothers in the Persian Gulf.
He claimed that Egypt will take any measures to protect Saudi Arabia and defend this country and will not allow Saudi Arabia, its security or stability to be harmed.
The Egyptian president claimed that the purpose of this authorization is to defend the brotherly countries in the Persian Gulf region and this action is defensive, not a war with another party.
These statements are made while Saudi Arabia has carried out air and missile attacks on several Yemeni provinces and has targeted residential houses and civilian targets.
According to the report of the Ministry of Health of Sana'a government, the number of martyrs and injured in the Saudi attacks on Yemen has reached 419 people since the resumption of the escalation of conflicts on September 3rd.
On the other hand, the Yemeni armed forces have also carried out attacks against vital facilities in Saudi Arabia and military gatherings affiliated with Riyadh inside Yemen.
