Zionist Newspaper Admits to Systematic Torture in Israeli Prisons
A Zionist newspaper has reported systematic torture in the prisons of the Zionist regime against Palestinian prisoners, writing that Tel Aviv is threatening their lives through severe violence and the spread of disease.
A Zionist newspaper discussed the systematic torture in the prisons of the Zionist regime against Palestinian prisoners and wrote that Tel Aviv threatens the lives of prisoners with extreme violence and the spread of disease.
According to Ambassador Arjan, Zionist newspaper Haaretz, in a field report written by Hajar Shizaf and Nir Hassoun, revealed that Israeli prisons and detention centers have turned into torture camps for Palestinians over the past three years, and thousands of Palestinian prisoners are facing a deliberate policy of starvation, extreme violence, and the spread of diseases, under the direct support and supervision of Itmar Benguir, the Minister of Internal Security of the Zionist regime.
This report stated that among the 9,329 Palestinian prisoners who were in custody until last September, only 16% of them had been indicted. Meanwhile, 34% are in "administrative detention" without charges, 34% are in a state of waiting for interrogation, and another group under the title of "illegal combatants" are under arrest in a classification contrary to international laws.
The Narrative of Freed Prisoners: Starvation, Torture and Bloody Attacks
This report describes the story of five Palestinian prisoners who were recently released from the prisons of "Majdo", "Nafha", "Katsiot", "Ofer" and "Damon".
Ali Samoudi (journalist from Jenin) says in this regard that he was released without charges after one year of administrative detention. He has lost 60 kg of his 120 kg weight and has contracted 10 chronic diseases due to hunger, medical negligence and eating spoiled or expired food. He reported on the brutal behavior of the prison guards, forcing the prisoners to be naked for humiliating inspections, firing plastic bullets in the bathrooms and preventing the treatment of the Palestinian prisoners in the prisons.
Heba Allawi, a Palestinian captive woman from Hebron, who was the head of her family, was released after about 5 months of imprisonment in "Damon" prison. She lost 36 kg of her weight and was tortured with severe beatings, electric shocks, gas sprays and physical abuse during the attacks, which led to the pulling out of her nails, broken teeth and heavy uterine bleeding.
Samer Khoira from Nablus says that he was released after 9 months of administrative detention on charges of media activity and lost 22 kg. Khoyra reported the daily humiliation methods, including handcuffing the prisoners and moving them in a "domino" style, and hitting them with their knees by the prison guards, which resulted in breaking two of his ribs, and said that he was not treated for these tortures. He also said about the outbreak of scabies in the prisons of the Zionist regime that it has turned the prisoners into "walking dead" whose blood and inflammation drip from their bodies, but they do not receive any medicine.
Rabi Abu Naeem from Ramallah says that he has been in administrative detention for 9 months because of his peaceful activities against the settlers' attacks. He lost 15 kg of weight and was faced with very meager food rations and had to exchange pieces of bread with others to get a proper meal. He has been tortured with electric shocks, beatings with knees and weapons, unleashing police dogs on captives and shooting plastic bullets into the straps, and despite broken bones and severe pain, he was denied medical treatment.
This investigation acknowledged the deliberate collusion and time-wasting of the Zionist regime's court regarding the tortures that took place in the prisons of this regime and said that there is no real judicial supervision and attention to the conditions of prisoners and that the judicial system has become a tool to legitimize the actions of the authorities and the regular extension of administrative detentions.
