Asphalt 20 km of Saqqez rural roads with the participation of mines

Saqqez- Technical deputy and rural roads of the country's highway and road transport organization announced the asphalting of 20 kilometers of rural roads in Saqqez with the participation of mines and highways in order to compensate for the backwardness of this city.

According to Mehr reporter, Ali Khanqaei on Friday morning during the review of the condition of rural roads in Saqoz city, referring to the distance between Kurdistan villages and the country's average of asphalt roads, said: despite the limitations in the definition of new projects, asphalting 20 kilometers of rural roads in Saqoz is on the agenda with the participation of mines and road management.

Emphasizing the necessity of providing sustainable resources for the development of rural roads, he added: It is necessary to provide a specific line of credit for the asphalting of rural roads in the budget law, so that the deprivation process in this sector can be followed more quickly.

The Deputy Technical and Rural Roads of the Road and Road Transport Organization of the country pointed out the significant gap between the availability of rural roads in Kurdistan, especially Saqez city, for more than 20 households from the national average, and emphasized the need to pay more attention to the completion of the rural road network in this region.

Criticism of the process of attracting road credits

The representative of the people of Saqqez and Baneh in the Islamic Council also pointed to the need to strengthen the road infrastructure in the region and stated: the funds and machinery of the road sector should be distributed fairly.

Mohsen Bigleri, criticizing the performance of the provincial road administration in the field of timely absorption of bitumen quota, emphasized the need to follow up the demands of the road sector and listed the absorption of credit for stabilization and improvement of the asphalt of the Sahib-Goltepe axis as one of the needs of this region.

The governor of Saqqez also explained the state of the rural roads of this county and stated: 504 kilometers of the total 990 kilometers of rural roads of Saqqez have been asphalted so far.

Ziauddin Nomani added: The construction and asphalting of 102 km of rural roads in the city has been entrusted to the contractor, and the earthworks of 21.5 km of rural roads have also been carried out using the capacity of social responsibility of mines.

In the continuation of this program, the deputy technical and rural roads of the country's highway and road transport organization visited the axes of Chagarlo-Aliabad, Goltepe-Barcham and Saqqez-Marivan variant, and the condition of these routes was examined.
