"Simorgh" Takes Flight over Shiraz Tourism

Coinciding with a visit to Art Expo 2026 by the Mayor of Shiraz and national, provincial, and municipal officials, the Simorgh AI tourism platform was unveiled, featuring three key capabilities: introduction of historical attractions, bilingual health tourism, and travel service booking.

Simultaneously with the visit of the mayor of Shiraz and national, provincial and city officials to Art Expo 2026, Simorgh's artificial intelligence tourism system with three key features including the introduction of historical attractions, bilingual health tourism and travel service booking was unveiled.

According to Ambassador Arjan, the Simorgh tourism system based on artificial intelligence with the ability to introduce the historical attractions of Fars, provide health tourism services in Farsi and Arabic and book travel services, was unveiled at the same time with the visit of Mohammad Hassan Asadi, the mayor of Shiraz, Anoushirvan Mohsenibandapi, the country's deputy tourism official, cultural heritage officials, the governor of Shiraz, and a group of tourism activists from Art Expo 2026 in order to realize the virtual visit of Fars attractions to the introduction of health tourism.

This system is designed in three parts, the first part of which is the introduction of tourist attractions and providing the possibility of virtual visits to the historical places of Fars using artificial intelligence technology. This feature allows the audience to get to know their desired attractions and destinations before traveling.

The second part is dedicated to the introduction of health tourism capacities and provides information in this field in Persian and Arabic languages to domestic and foreign audiences.

Selling tickets and booking travel services is also the third part of this system, which provides services needed by tourists along with destination introduction content and virtual visits.

The unveiling of the Simorgh system links new technologies to the means of introducing Fars tourism capacities; From virtual familiarization with historical heritage to access to health tourism information and travel services.
