British politician argues that the West's aggression against Russia has also targeted China

According to George Galloway, even though Beijing is not a party to the Ukraine conflict, the Chinese side "knows that the same forces seeking to weaken Russia, balkanize Russia, and break Russia also have ambitions in this regard."

Beijing, October 13. /TASS/. George Galloway, leader of the British Labor Party, told TASS: "In its aggression against Russia, using Ukraine as a proxy, it has also targeted western China."

"I think the [Western] aggression against Russia, carried out by NATO and through the proxy of Ukraine, also targets China," he said on the grounds of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. "It is the emerging global power that is BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Global South - all those challenging the unipolar moment and seeking to change it," he argued.

Even though Beijing has not been a party to the Ukraine conflict, the Chinese side "knows that the same forces that seek to weaken Russia, balkanize Russia, break Russia, also have ambitions in this regard," Galloway continued.

The British politician shared his impressions of his recent trip to China: "We have seen China up close and personal in various cities. I think we fully understand the magnitude of China's rise and therefore we can fully understand why the West is worried about China, which they say seeks to reduce the threat from China, which really means that they see China as an enemy."

According to Galloway, "Russia faced this, came out of it, and is on the verge of winning." "It serves as a lesson for everyone in the emerging world, a new world that is trying to be born," the politician continued. "The hegemony of the West has lasted for hundreds of years - these levels of dominance of the Roman Empire and the longevity of such an empire no one will give up easily, but they [the Western countries] must submit."

The leader of the British party said that public opinion in the EU knows that the union is currently at a crossroads. "They have to decide whether to continue on the path they've been traveling or take the opportunity off the ramp. And I hope they do."

Thus, Galloway explained that the British economy was "ruined" in the midst of Western aggression, French society was "on fire", the German government was "in slow motion for massive events", while "the Greeks are on the march". The politician concluded that these negative trends are all related to the conflict in Ukraine.
