High-Consumption Evaporative Cooler Motors in Yazd Province to Be Replaced
70,000 high-consumption evaporative cooler motors in Yazd Province will be replaced free of charge with energy-efficient BLDC motors under a four-party memorandum of understanding among Mahan, Tosan, Post Bank Iran, and Hamgam companies.
70,000 high-consumption water cooler motors in Yazd province will be replaced with low-consumption BLDC motors free of charge in the form of a four-way memorandum between Mahan, Tosun, Iran Postbank and Synchronous companies.
The signing ceremony of the four-way joint memorandum between Postbank of Iran and "Hamgam", "Mehan" and "Toussen" companies was held in October 1405, with the aim of implementing large plans to optimize energy consumption and replace energy-consuming equipment.
This ceremony was held in the presence of Mohammad Ali Shah Hosseini, Deputy Director of Management and Resources Development of Yazd Governorate, Hamid Banayan, CEO of Iran Post Bank, Seydoulilah Fatemi Ardakani, founder of Tosun and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mohan, and Mohammad Amin Agha, representative of Satba.
According to this memorandum, in the first step, 70,000 high-consumption water cooler motors in Yazd province will be replaced with low-consumption BLDC motors for free; An action that can play a significant role in reducing electricity consumption in the hot season of the year.
The implementation of energy consumption optimization plans, including the replacement of worn out and high consumption equipment, in addition to helping to preserve national resources, by creating economic patterns and appropriate financing, can lead to a reduction in household expenses and increase in productivity at the community level. The implementation of this project in Yazd province will be the responsibility of Mahan Group.
Mahan started its activity in 1402 in Yazd province, focusing on smart gas consumption, and during this period, it has been able to expand its scope of activity to 20 other provinces of the country. Now, by developing its activities in the field of energy consumption optimization, this group will also participate in the water cooler engine replacement plan.
Yazd province has about 400,000 water coolers, a significant part of which use high-consumption motors. Replacing these motors with low-consumption BLDC motors can be an effective step in reducing electricity consumption, managing energy imbalance, and increasing the efficiency of cooling equipment in the province.
In this ceremony, Seidoulillah Fatemi Ardakani also pointed to the existing capacities for the implementation of large national projects in the field of energy, and considered the goal of replacing 300,000 motorcycles with electric motorcycles as another transformational measure that can be effective in reducing energy consumption, air pollution, and compensating some of the existing imbalances.
This memorandum can be considered an important step in the development of new energy consumption optimization plans in Yazd province; Plans that rely on technology, financing models and the participation of public and private sectors, seek to transform energy saving into a sustainable economic model.
