Rice and Meat Under the 'Zero Inflation Plan' Are Imported but High-Quality | Plan Currently Running at 108 Produce Markets and 18 Shahrvand Stores

A Tehran Municipality spokesperson said the essential goods price stabilization plan is currently being implemented at 108 selected produce markets and 18 Shahrvand stores, and will expand to 200 produce markets by the end of Aban to make access easier for citizens.

The spokesman of Tehran Municipality said: The price stabilization plan for basic goods is currently implemented in 108 Tarebar Squares and 18 selected citizen stores and will be increased to 200 Tarebar Squares by the end of November with the aim of making it easier for citizens to access.

According to the report of Ambassador Arjan, Abdul Mathar Mohammad Khani said: Our red line in this plan is to intervene in the market, which means collecting goods from suppliers.

He added: "Tehran Municipality, with the support of the President, will keep the price of 12 basic goods constant for the next 6 months." The main strength of this plan will be visible in the conditions that in the coming months, according to expert estimates, the price of basic goods will increase.

The purpose of implementing this plan is to create peace of mind for citizens and to provide the possibility to plan the purchase of basic goods in the next six months.
