Implementation of 80 construction projects worth 8 thousand billion Tomans in Safadasht

Mallard - The mayor of Safadasht announced the implementation of 80 construction projects with an approximate credit of eight thousand billion tomans from the internal resources of the municipality.

According to Mehr reporter, Mohammad Ali Karimi announced the implementation of 80 construction projects worth approximately eight thousand billion Tomans in Safadasht and requested the support of the governorate for the production of municipal properties to provide financial resources for urban development projects.

The mayor of Safadasht, referring to the problems of providing financial resources of municipalities, stated: All the credits of the construction projects being implemented in this city are provided from the internal resources of the municipality.

Stating that the increase in costs has made the implementation of construction projects a challenge, he added: The cost of implementing some projects has increased several times in recent years, and this issue has increased the need to create sustainable income for urban management.

Referring to the Safadasht sewage project, Karimi stated: The initial estimate of the cost of implementing this project in 2017 was about 47 billion tomans, but now its cost has reached about 4,700 billion tomans.

Emphasizing the necessity of using the capacity of municipal properties and lands to provide financial resources for projects, the mayor of Safadasht said: the proposal for the production of municipal properties and lands has already been presented and related correspondence has been done.

He pointed out: We expect that with the support of Tehran Governorate and the assignment of this issue in the master plan, the possibility of using the capacity of these properties to provide financial resources for construction projects and urban development will be provided.
