Saudi Aramco Warns: Keeping the Strait of Hormuz Closed Is Dangerous
The chief executive of Saudi Aramco warned of a sharp decline in commercial oil reserves and of the last remaining line of defense, due to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
The CEO of Saudi Aramco Company warned against the drastic reduction of commercial oil reserves and the last line of defense in this regard due to the disruption in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Ambassador Arjan's report, quoted by Al-Mayadeen, Amin Al-Nasser, CEO of Saudi Aramco Company, announced that commercial oil reserves on land have decreased to less than 6 billion barrels, and this is the last line of defense available.
He added: This is despite the fact that a large part of these reserves are inaccessible. Until the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the building of trust, the pressure on the energy supply chain will intensify.
Al-Nasser clarified: The sharp and successive increase in energy prices makes the challenges of the energy market worse. The continued pressure on the crude oil transmission line in the world is a dangerous issue.
It should be noted that the sharp global increase in energy prices and the disturbance in the movement of ships in the Strait of Hormuz occurred due to the aggression of the United States against Iran.
